Dani deLeon (b. 1991) is a Philadelphia-based artist who considers herself an archivist through writing, video, and oil painting. Following studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design and a career in brand imagery– ever drawn by the landscape– Dani reprioritized her practice to focus on painting "en plein air" (outdoors). She is curious about the public performance of urban plein air, the stamina and repetition, and how her work fits into the lineage of Pennsylvania impressionism and regional plein air.
